Hey there! I’m Jessica Meya and I’m a television writer and producer based in Toronto, Canada. I’ve written for CTV and New Metric Media comedy series Children Ruin Everything, for which I was nominated for Best Writing, Comedy Series for the 2024 WGC Screenwriting Awards and the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards. Additional credits include CBC & Paramount+ medical drama SkyMed, Crave’s Bria Mack Gets A Life, CBC’s Small Achievable Goals, and HBO Max/CBC Gem’s Detention Adventure for which I won the 2021 Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing, Children’s or Youth series.
